Ao longo deste curso 2012/13 o IES MARQUÉS DE SARGADELOS conta cun Asistente de Linguas Estranxeiras que procede de Connecticut (USA). aproveitando os seus coñecementos do páis, e para afondar máis na cultura americana e galega, os alumnos de 2º de ESO fixeron un proxecto por grupos na materia de inglés Velaquí os temas abordados:
1.-Location, population, coat of arms and anthem of Connecticut and San Cibrao.
2.-Main industries in Connecticult and in "A Mariña Luguesa": pottery/aluminium/fishing.
3.-Outstanding people from Connecticut and A Mariña ( Luz Pozo, Pascual Veiga, Cunqueiro, Stephanie Meyers, Kevin Bacon..)
4.-Places of interest: beaches, museums..
5.-Educational Systems: differences, similarities.
6.-Main festivals and celebrations: Maruxaina,queimada, jazz festival, Thanskgiving, Halloween..
